Rennes (France), September 06, 2017 – TeamCast, the world-renowned leader in digital modulation technologies for Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), Wireless Transmission and Satellite Applications, is showing its full range of satellite modulators and demodulators at IBC 2017.
As an all-in-one satellite solution for operators dealing with contribution (e.g. high quality 4K DSNG links) or distribution (either Direct-to-Transmitters or Direct-to-Home), TeamCast is offering a range of modulators:
- An extended number of signal inputs for VYPER, the largely deployed DVB-S/S2/S2X modulator with CID insertion, to manage full redundant head-ends or multiple signal carrying,
- Dual VYPER, two VYPER modulators in a single chassis for high density D-SNG vans or network head-ends,
- TYGER, a high bit rate modulator offering up to 480 Mbaud / 2 Gbps capacity and support of Time Slicing for compatibility with low complexity consumer receivers,
- SmartGate, an IP & Ethernet Gateway with ultra-low latency for satellite access. SmartGate combines an efficient IP encapsulator as well as a high-end satellite modulator.
All of them offer unprecedented signal quality, CID insertion, full local and remote management and a superb field-proven reliability.
The product range also comprises professional demodulators for D-SNG and monitoring applications (SYPER), also including DVB-CID extraction and analysis (CID receiver).
“With its advanced characteristics and completeness, our range of satellite transmission products guarantees flexible and reliable operation to broadcast satellite operators, while the cost effective approach guarantees a short Return on Investment to them as well” says Christophe TROLET, Head of Business Unit.
The full range of Broadcast Satellite products is shown at IBC 2017 on TeamCast’s stand #2.B51.
TeamCast has been shortlisted for the IBC 2017 Innovation Awards in the Content Distribution category, for its contribution to the Next Generation Broadcast Architecture Project deployed in the USA by Sinclair Broadcast Group, with support from ONE Media.
