DVB-T2 Capacity Evaluator

In just two years, DVB-T2 evolved from a DVB specification to an European Norme (ETSI EN 302 755 v121 (2010-10) and even to a on-air reality in some countries.

While providing an incredible flexibility for implementers, the DVB-T2 terrestrial broadcast system exhibits a “near-to-Shannon” spectral efficiency which allows to enhance the legendary DVB-T performance both in terms of throughput (30-50%) and robustness (+1dB..+3 dB).

TeamCast highlighted the impressive enhancements of DVB-T2 beyond the previous state-of-the-art DVB-T, in the "DVB-T2 Capacity Evaluator" tools.

The "DVB-T2 Capacity Evaluator" has to be downloaded for local use on a PC. The excel file is optimized for a display 1024*768. To benefit from the resolution of your screen, you should use the "zoom" function of Excel.
