The new SUS-2000 module

TeamCast is introducing a new Signal Generator, with 8VSB modulation, meeting the requirements of the ATSC DTV standard. Like any other similar product from TeamCast, (available for DVB-T/H, DVB-SH, FLO, DTMB), the SUS-2000 is a compact module including both a digital modulator and a channel emulator, able to emulate fixed and mobile reception conditions. It is equipped with both DVB-ASI and SMPTE-310M inputs, and UHF outputs.

The SUS has been developed specifically for easy testing of ATSC terminals and repeaters/gap-fillers.

It includes a random noise generator (AWGN) and a echo simulator. It allows DOPPLER effect generation, and impulse noise (or burst noise) as requested for ATSC validation.
