Description

The T-MOD S/S2 modulator is a state-of-the-art satellite modulator designed for distribution applications over satellite in full compliance with the DVB-S and DVB-S2 standards.
Depending on the applications and the features, the T-MOD S/S2 can be used in conjunction with set-top boxes, professional IRDs or satelllite demodulators such as the D-MOD S/S2.

Performance & Reliability

The T-MOD S/S2 modulator has been designed to deal with the requirements of the ETSI EN 302 307. It can operate in CCM as well as VMC and ACM modes. The core provides all the necessary processing blocks to transform a Transport stream or a Generic Stream or a BBFrame stream into RF output signal.
The T-MOD S/S2 integrates the complete technology core required to perform high quality modulation based on the TEAMCAST high level knowledge. It provides designers with a best class performance, providing a high SNR value, excellent shoulder levels and lowest phase noise. Designers can manage this equipment by using a very simple communication protocol thanks to WEB port.
