Description

The MDM-2000 is the most advanced and the most integrated Satellite Time Division Multiplex (TDM) modulator addressing DVB-SH applications. TEAMCAST has developed a unique experience in designing and implementing DVB-SH technology since 2007. With the launch of the MDM-2000 product range, it becomes now possible for broadcasters to implement hybrid SH-B broadcasting infrastructure, maximizing service coverage and usage with both multi-carrier (ODFM) and single carrier (TDM) transmission techniques. MDM-2000 features all the necessary functionalities to generate a compliant DVB-SH TDM signal, comprising turbo encoding, time interleaving, TDM physical layer framing, TDM pilots insertion and pulse shaping with QAM modulation. The MDM-2050 model delivers a L-band signal and would be installed at the NOC(1) to feed the satellite up-link up-converter. The MDM-2070 is more dedicated to stress SH-B demodulators for tests and labs purposes.
