Description

The POD-1000 consists of a compact DVB-H demodulator, especially designed for early testing of DVB-H broadcasts, either in the field or in the laboratory. Performing real-time demodulation of the DVB-H signal, it is also suitable for demonstration purposes or signal and service level monitoring. Its OEM design format also enables fast integration into any DVB-H transmission monitoring system. Designers can elect to use the POD-1000 control software or to develop their own applications using the optional Software Development Kit.

The POD-1000 is packaged in a compact and light module that is suitable for in-field applications. The POD-1000 can be connected to a portable PC station via USB, for decoding in real-time the DVB-H video services. As the MPE FEC decoding is performed onto the POD-1000, a standard video player is sufficient on the PC for full programme decoding!
